The newcomer delivers an addictive sound time and time again, with the subtle influence of folk and soul wandering into his effortless pop. It is his acrobatic vocal display that really catches the ear, but his lyrics are heartfelt too. On his new EP, he explains: “Some songs were written at 3am in ten minutes, some I’d written a few years ago and adapted, and others were fleshed out over months with amazing producers.
